PLAYER TOUR QUALIFIER PROMOS Players Tour Qualifiers are single-day Magic: The Gathering tournaments introduced in 2020 where the winner will qualify for the Players Tour, similar to the previous Mythic Championship Qualifier and Pro Tour Qualifiers. These new style PTQ's are run by independent tournament organizers. They are distinct from WPN Qualifiers, which are run by WPN member stores. Players who miss qualifying by one or two losses may get a "fractional invite" that can be combined in order to secure an invite to a Players Tour or Players Tour Finals. Cryptic Command comes in a sealed clear pack of 32 Promos. Aether Vial only exists as an artist proof, aside from a few escaped copies. It was originally scheduled for distribution in 2020 during the competitive season canceled due to COVID-19. Surgical Extraction was never released due to COVID-19 restrictions.
